Graham Norton is a 'dead cert' to host the Eurovision Song Contest next year in the eyes of bookmakers, after it was officially confirmed that the UK will host the event, rather than the Ukraine.
After a lot of speculation over the past month, the news that Eurovision 2023 will be in the UK was finally rubber-stamped on Monday by the European Broadcasting Union and the BBC.
Ukraine won this year's competition with Kalush Orchestra but, given the conflict in the war torn country this year, it won't stage next year's event.
Making a statement, Tim Davie, BBC Director General said: "It is a matter of great regret that our colleagues and friends in Ukraine are not able to host the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. Being asked to host the largest and most complex music competition in the world is a great privilege.

"The BBC is committed to making the event a true reflection of Ukrainian culture alongside showcasing the diversity of British music and creativity. The BBC will now begin the process to find a host city to partner with us on delivering one of the most exciting events to come to the UK in 2023."
The news sparked a massive reaction online as Eurovision fans had their say on where in the UK next year's contest will be held and, as opinions were being banded around, bookies released their odds on who they think will host. And it's Graham, the BBC's Eurovision commentator after the death of UK Eurovision legend Sir Terry Wogan, who is at the top of the betting right now.
BetVictor have Graham as odds on favourite to be presenter, currently at 1/6, while Betfair are hedging their bets a bit more, having him at 3/1.
