Rs 22,000 crore boost for oil firms, bonus for railway workers: Key Cabinet decisions

NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet on Wednesday announced a slew of decisions from providing a one-time grant to oil marketing companies, bonus to railway employees and few others, amid festival fervor in the country.

Announcing the decisions taken at the cabinet meeting, which was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Thakur said that the one-time grant of Rs 22,000 crore for oil marketing companies in public sector undertakings (PSUs) has been given to reduce the burden of rising prices on common people.
