After years of hype and delays, Gotham Knights finally has a release date.
On Wednesday, Warner Brothers Games announced that Gotham Knights is coming out on October 25, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The release date news came out of nowhere, as we’ve not seen or heard anything about Gotham Knights since DC Fandome last fall. There’s no new trailer or screenshots, just a single post on developer Warner Brothers Montréal’s social media pages. Probably to capitalize off of hype for The Batman since everyone is still going bananas over that movie. Smart move, really!

The basic plot for Gotham Knights is Batman is dead. Yup, someone finally clapped the caped crusader, and now it’s up to Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red hood to protect Gotham City. It’ll be a four-player online co-op affair in a semi-open-world, so perfect material skull-cracking material with friends.
While Gotham Knights will play similarly to Arkham series, Warner Brothers Montréal only made Batman: Arkham Origins. Rocksteady Studios, the team behind Batman: Arkham Asylum, is currently making Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is due out next year.
