Gordon Ramsay has come to Brooklyn Beckham's defence after fans criticised his '£300 raw' Sunday roast.
Last week, the 23-year-old took to his Instagram to share a video of him and former Michelin chef Kevin Lee preparing a prime rib with a large amount of seasoned butter.
As they were making it 'Michelin', fans started questioning how much the beef cost him, with butchers revealing it would cost between £200 and £300.
They mocked the star by telling him he used too much butter to cover the beef and claimed the finished product was too raw.
Celebrity chef Gordon didn't understand the criticism against Brooklyn - who grew up with his kids - and came to his defence.
He admitted he didn't see the "'supposedly' raw beef" video but is glad the star is enjoying his culinary adventure.
"But even as a 12-year-old, whilst playing football, Brooklyn was always excited about food," Gordon said.
"So I'm pleased that he's gone down that road and he's found something he really enjoys doing."
"It probably came off a certain way, but it's not his fault. So I have no issues against it. I'm excited. We have another chef joining the mix," the Hell's Kitchen star added to MailOnline.
For the Sunday roast, Brooklyn cooked prime rib, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and glazed carrots.
While many were impressed with the meal, some took to the comment section to mock his culinary abilities.
"A good vet could bring that back to life," one user said while another added: "That’s just a reckless amount of butter for that much meat."
One concerned follower wrote: "Might as well bite the cow while it’s grazing."
"That’s a heart attack on a plate," another said after seeing the large portion.
Thankfully, many people supported his cooking video and called out the trolls for their hateful comments.
"Some of y’all have never had prime rib and it shows," one fan said while one posted: "DAMN…. EVERYONE has something negative to sayyy."
It's not the first time Brooklyn was criticised for his cooking as he was previously mocked for his cocktail creations.
Ahead of the festive season, the photographer was teaching Bustle viewers how to make a Lychee Martini - and a gin and tonic.
Fans also questioned him when he 'cooked up' a cucumber salad in recent weeks.
Brooklyn made it clear to viewers that he is just doing something he is passionate about.
"I'm not a professional chef – at all," he told Bustle. "It's okay to be 25, 26, or even 30 and not know what you're doing yet. You know what I mean?"
