Google previews Pixel Tablet, says it cares about tablets again

Google I/O 2022 had one shared theme: Google cares about platforms it basically abandoned years ago. Case in point: Pixel Watch running Wear OS. Also: the Pixel Tablet launching next year in 2023.

We only got a glimpse of the Pixel Tablet that will run on Android 13, but from the looks of it, the device resembles a fairly traditional iPad competitor. But like most of Google’s products, software tricks will likely be what differentiates it.
