MUMBAI: In a piece of news which will bring delight to the Mumbai Indians fans, star batsman Suryakumar Yadav, who joined the MI squad on Thursday, batted for close to two hours in the nets at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday.
Arriving much earlier than the rest of the players, SKY practised his shots against throwdowns and MI left-arm spinner Kumar Kartikeya, and should be return to competitive cricket after almost three months for the team's next match, against the Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
