Good Morning Britain viewers praised Mick Lynch after he clashed with the hosts on today's show.
Friday's edition of the ITV news programme was fronted by Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard. The two interviewed the RMT boss amid the ongoing rail dispute.
The General Secretary was on the picket line at Euston Station as the second 48-hour rail strike of the week started this morning. Rail staff have walked out in an ongoing dispute over working conditions and rates of pay.

The Tipping Point host quizzed Mr Lynch on claims from Network Rail bosses that a deal is "within touching distance" as only 2,000 more signatures are needed to get a deal over the line.
Mr Lynch shut the claims down as he issued a blunt response. He said: "You're just repeating the company's line on their behalf.
"I don't know why you choose to do that. What we had was a referendum were 83% of our members voted and they lost that referendum by a ratio of 2 to 1.
"In any football match that I've seen if you get 2 and the opposition get 1 then you win the game. They lost that despite a massive propaganda effort. They made special films, they had compulsory briefings and they still couldn't convince staff to vote for the offer on the table.
"That is the only offer on the table so they're going to have to make a new offer in a new format with some different proposals. We'll be trying to work on that with them next week so when we get a new proposal we'll put that to our members."
Viewers following the show on Twitter praised Mr Lynch for his response.
