Ranvir Singh stepped into correct her Good Morning Britain colleague Richard Madeley during Tuesday's episode show, over the way he pronounced a location name during a live interview.
With main GMB presenter Susanna Reid off for Easter, there have been a few changes in personnel on the ITV programme over the past week, with Ranvir teaming up with This Morning legend Richard to anchor at the start of the week. Their partnership has divided viewers, particularly Richard, with some likening him to infamous TV character Alan Partridge, while others have praised his no nonsense approach.
On Tuesday's Good Morning Britain, as well as speaking to the UK's Eurovision act Sam Ryder and going direct to Ukraine to get updates from Richard Gaisford, Ranvir and Richard discussed reports that fish and chips could soon double in price due rising costs of cod and haddock, with the war in Ukraine having an impact on cooking oil prices. The presenters spoke to the President of the Association of Fish Fryers, Andrew Crook.
