Good Morning Britain viewers took to social media to make a demand after Mick Lynch was interviewed by Kate Garraway and Paul Brand during Thursday's show.
The Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union boss appeared via video link, live from the picket line outside Euston station. Rail services across the country have ground to a halt during the latest strike, in a bitter dispute over jobs, pay and conditions.
Further industrial action will take place on Saturday (August 20).

Paul Brand told Mick Lynch he is on a "six-figure salary", a point that was quickly denied by Mr Lynch. Speaking about those taking part in industrial action, Mr Lynch said: "They've made a sacrifice to stand up for their rights. You don't get anything without being committed to a cause.
"You'll see the picket lines becoming more vibrant across the country. We will continue to support them, along with other trade unions and many members of the public."
Network Rail chief executive Andrew Neil also spoke to presenters from the station, assuring them "job security for everyone who wants to keep their job".
Viewers watching GMB at home took to Twitter during the segment, with many issuing the same demand. Clive Kareem said: "Mick Lynch would make a good Labour leader".
Mick Kenny said: "Here’s a plan, why don’t @UKLabour drop #MickLynch into a safe seat, give him a job in the shadow cabinet and let him have a stab at the leadership job, he’d be PM at the next general election". uniquedollsUK said: "Mick Lynch has done more for the people than this responsibility dodging, corrupt, self serving, inept government has done in all the years they’ve been in power."
Others were unhappy with the "six-figure salary" line. Lewis said: "Wherever Mick Lynch goes they try to (falsely) bring up that he's on a 6-figure salary as if that detracts from his message. It's because they can't critique the actual message and demands because how can you oppose affordable housing or fair wage or taxing the rich?"
Kath said: "#GMB you never asked Andrew Haines how much his salary is like you did Mick Lynch". Kuistviet said: "Why ask Mick Lynch about his salary and not the rail boss?"
