Students returning to university have been warned of a “very real danger” of catching a sexually transmitted infection (STI) or disease as gonorrhoea cases hit record levels in the UK.
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) issued a warning encouraging condom use when having sex with a new partner, especially younger people who are most likely to spread STIs.
