LIV Golf’s second event came to end yesterday afternoon in Portland with Brandon Grace winning a bunch of money in a tournament that was really just an exhibition and didn’t mean anything.
Don’t tell that to Talor Gooch, though, because that suspended PGA Tour player said after the event that he felt like the atmosphere along the fairways and greens at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club was like two events he’s never come close to playing in the – the Ryder Cup and the President Cup.
Seriously, the 30 year old who has one win on the PGA Tour, really said that.

As you can tell, he wasn’t even close to being accurate:

His teammates – Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed, who have played in those meaningful events – had the perfect reaction to Gooch’s nonsense:

Golf fans enjoyed roasting Gooch.
