Harry Redknapp believes Everton may have to sell star man Richarlison in order to raise funds to improve the rest of the team. The Brazilian has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur who secured Champions League football for next season.
Everton were in a relegation battle last season and Frank Lampard's side secured another campaign in the Premier League on the final home game of the season, but Redknapp thinks the Blues will struggle if funds aren't raised.
The former manager highlighted how sometimes the best player in a team has to be sold in order to raise money to strengthen the squad and this is the case with Everton.

Talking to TalkSPORT, Redknapp said: "He [Richarlison] has got ability, there is no doubt about that. He can drive you mad though at times when you see him diving about, and whatever he gets up to. He can certainly play, though, and scores, and he has managed to get assists.
"But if Frank has no money to spend, he is going to have to sell. Sometimes you have to sell your best player to try and get two or three in. He [Lampard] needs to strengthen that team. That team that Everton have got at the moment, they are going to struggle. I am desperate for them [Everton] to do well, I kicked every ball with Frank this season, but I think they are going to be struggling again.”
