Gogglegbox's new mum Ellie Warner overcomes health problem as she's praised for candid breastfeeding snap

Gogglebox star Ellie Warner has shared an update on life as a new mum after the Channel 4 show's latest series came to an end. Earlier this month, the hairdresser was seen introducing her newborn son to the world on the programme for the first time.

Her baby son, who she shares with boyfriend Nat Eddleston, made his Gogglebox debut during the series finale on June 2 as Ellie didn't miss her regular appearance on the sofa with her younger sister Izzi Warner. Ellie then later delighted fans with the first picture of her newborn baby, who she revealed they had named Ezra.

She uploaded the adorable photo to Instagram which showed little bundle of joy lying in a chic baby bed with a mustard-coloured blanket draped over him. Expressing her sheer glee with her 473k followers, she wrote: "Sweet baby Ezra. He has made our lives complete. We love you so much son."

And after disappearing from screens until September when Gogglebox is expected to return, Ellie took to social media with a candid snap of herself breastfeeding while also revealing that she's suffering from mastitis which she described as "getting better".

Mastitis, according to the NHS website, is when the breasts become swollen, hot and painful. It is most common in breastfeeding women and does not usually need medical treatment.

The Leeds-born star shared the photo to her hundreds of thousands of followers with the message. The photo showed Ellie with baby Ezra as she trialled a sling that also allowed her to breastfeed. She beamed for the camera as she gave a peace sign while her baby son nestled into her while he was feeding.

Captioning the post, Ellie wrote: "Today at the sling library! Can’t wait to take it out for a test drive. Got a bit of mastitis. but it’s getting better now thank god." Sister Izzi, who is a mum of tow herself, was quick to respond to the post, joking: "Wangers out Wednesday," with two disco ball emojis.

Fans, meanwhile, were quick to rush into the comments and share their own experience of mastitis, with some offering advice for the new mum while others were quick to gush over seeing Ellie appearing to take to motherhood like a duck to water.
