A show announcement made by Gogglebox couple Dave and Shirley Griffiths has led to thousands replying to their social media post. The couple, who took to Instagram with the message just a day ago, have already had a huge reaction to the post.
The Welsh couple revealed when fans can expect them back on the popular Channel 4 show. The channel is currently airing Celebrity Gogglebox on a Friday night while the usual armchair critics take a break over the summer. Since the usual show wrapped up filming in May, celebs such as Carol Vorderman, Stacey Solomon and Rylan Clark have been entertaining viewers.
Dave and Shirley joined the cast of Gogglebox in 2015, according to Wales Online, adding that they "have quickly become fan favourites". The couple, who hail from Caerphilly, have amassed a large social media following and regularly update Gogglebox viewers on Instagram.
