Now Julie has joked her dog Dave should be the next Prime Minister. Sharing a clip of the adorable dog wearing a red superhero cape, she said: "Dave reckons he could do a better job in No 10. Vote Dave, National Daft Doggy Party!"
Fans were loving the update. Taking to the comments section on Instagram, Amy Froud said: "I'll vote you Dave," while Charlotte said: "I'd vote for Dave over anyone else in the running." @groovygranny62 said: "He would get my vote."
Heather Noonan said: "Super Dave to the rescue." Taylor said: "So say we all, Dave for the job."
Earlier this year, the Malones shared a devastating update after their dog Lucy died. When asked about how Dave was coping with losing his sister, Julie said he was confused and heartbroken, prompting much sympathy from their followers.
Thankfully, they now have an adorable new dog called Tilly, who they are said to be "smitten" with.
