Gogglebox favourites Jenny and Lee have shared a picture of the pair on holiday in Cyprus and fans have showered them with messages, with many calling them the "best couple ever".
Jenny Newby and Lee Riley joined the popular Channel Four show - which typically airs at 9pm on the channel - almost 10 years ago in 2014 and fast became popular amongst viewers thanks to their firm friendship and hilarious commentary broadcast from Lee's caravan in Hull.
At the start of June, the duo took to their joint social media to reveal that the regular show would be taking a break, making way for the celebrity instalment of the programme, until September. Posting a picture of the trio enjoying themselves abroad looking rather sunkissed, they wrote: "Jenny hates sunbathing (laughing emojis). We do tho (sun emojis) Cyprus sun. loving the company (heart emoji)."
Shortly after posting this sweet image, that showed Lee's partner hugging Jenny - who Lee met decades ago when she was the landlady of a pub - fans of the pair rushed into the comments to admire them and their friendship.
One wrote: "Best couple ever on Gogglebox! You absolutely crack me up! Don’t ever stop making Gogglebox xx"
Another penned: "Fabulous photo. After a night out with you guys I bet I'd have a hangover and face ache from laughing so much". while a third added: "Love these two". It comes after Welsh Gogglebopx stars, Dave and Shirley, also posted a photograph from their holiday. Read more on that here.
Celebrity Gogglebox is currently airing on Channel 4 at 9pm and sees viewers cackling weekly at the starry-eyed cast, which include veterans of the show Nick and Liv Grimshaw, Bez and Shaun Ryder, Martin and Roman Kemp and Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aléshé. They are joined by new faces Davina McCall and her partner, celebrity hairstylist Michael Douglas, Comedian Katherine Ryan and her husband Bobby, naturalist and photographer Chris Packham CBE with his step-daughter Megan and Ricky Tomlinson and Sue Johnston and more.
Celebrity Gogglebox airs on Channel 4 at 9pm on Friday.
