People go to extreme lengths to avoid hearing spoilers of their favourite TV shows and movies - but usually, avoiding Gogglebox isn't one of them.
Many fans were left furious when a huge plot twist in new Netflix film Fall was revealed on this week's episode, and they took to Twitter to kick off at the producers of the Channel 4 show.
The film, which focuses on a pair of thrill-seeking best pals, Becky and Hunter, who climb to the top of a 2,000 foot radio tower to scatter the ashes of Becky's husband Dan. But when they get to the top, they realise that they are stuck - 610 metres in the air.
There is drama on the ascent as they lose their supplies, and one particularly terrifying scene shows one of the women being forced to shuffle up the final few metres of the tower, fireman style.
Fans have been left terrified by the 2022 flick, which only made it onto the streaming service a week ago, meaning many Brits haven't had a chance to watch it yet, unlike Goggleboxers including Pete and Sophie and Ellie and Izzie.
Scenes broadcast on last night's show gave away the vertigo-inducing movie's big twist - ruining the experience for others yet to see it.
Twitter soon came alight with people slating the show. One wrote: “They just told the whole movie in a nut shell.”
Other angry comments included: “Well done Gogglebox for giving away the twist in the fall. Bit inconsiderate don't you think,” and “Might as well have the entire bloody film!!!”
More ticked off viewers echoed their sentiments, posting: "Oof. Avoid Gogglebox if you don't want FALL being spoiled for you" and “I adore Gogglebox but can’t stand it when they show stuff I haven’t seen yet, really annoys me!”
The show caused more - albeit a different kind of - drama this week when one of the stars, caravan-dwelling Lee Riley, repeatedly swore on Zoe Ball's Radio 2 breakfast show.
Appearing alongside on-screen partner Jenny Newby, the TV icons were celebrating Gogglebox's 10th anniversary and discussing highlights from the show when Lee made the blunder.
After a clip was played from one of the Channel 4 episodes, the pair were asked to identify what episode it was from and what programme or film they were reacting to.
After one clip was played, Lee responded: "Oh yeah that was that green sh**." Soon as he realised what he had said, he followed it up with: "Oh s***, I said s***, sorry."
Host Zoe was forced to jump in and apologise to listeners as she said: "Sorry for the language."
Zoe then teased Lee as she told him she'd had former Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher on the show, and he had managed to get through it without swearing.
She joked: "Lee it’s ok, we’ll just say sorry, sorry for the language, Jenny, stop laughing. "If it's going to be anyone [who swears] let it be Lee from Gogglebox."
