Amanda Holden has teased about her 'date' with fellow Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell. She has described him as "godlike" but insisted there's only ever been friendship between the pair.
While fans may like to imagine a romance between Amanda, 52, and Simon, 63, she insists this has never been the case. However, she has credited the X Factor host for boosting her career.
As reported by The Mirror, Amanda became a judge on Britain's Got Talent in 2007. She had also appeared on Blind Date, The Grimleys and Wild at Heart.

In a recent interview, the 52-year-old spoke about her relationship with Simon. The pair are the only remaining original judges of Britain's Got Talent.
She told the Times: “He teases me it was a date, but it wasn’t. "We went out for dinner and I took my best friend."
Amanda added: “I am just eternally grateful that BGT gave me a chance. Simon Cowell likes to say he made people like me and it’s true.
"When I joined BGT there was no social media, so it was my chance to show people who I really am. In life you can’t make everyone like you, but at least I got a chance to change some of the perceptions about me.”
