Goats on a Subaru may not have the same ring as Snakes on a Plane, but this great little video clip turns out to be every bit as entertaining.
The Subaru in question belongs to a TikTok user going by the name of superglamp, who parked his vehicle while he was off hiking Tour de Abyss, near Idaho Springs, Colorado. He returned to find hoofprints all over the car and knew something was up…
Luckily, another guy, @Michael Ryno Photography managed to capture the culprits in action – a couple of mountain goats who clambered over the Subaru, with one of them mounting the roof carrier, and then jumping up an down on it vigorously.
Was it treating the carrier as a mini-dancefloor or was it testing out the car’s suspension? Either way, both car and carrier withstood the onslaught, reports superglamp.
As some commenters on the post suggest, the clip almost looks like an advert for Subaru. And the company itself even responded to the original TikTok video (we’ve embedded the Instagram version, because the image is larger), saying, “People have said we're the GOAT but didn't think this was what it meant.”
Responding to another comment about insurance claims, superglamp replied, “Shockingly there weren’t any dents but I still have the prints on the car because I don’t want to wash them off.”
We’re not so sure superglamp would be so slow getting the sponge out if the goat had peed on his Subaru too.
