Now is your chance to rate the Leeds United players for their showing against Aston Villa. Another league defeat leaves the Whites - now seven games without a win - just two points above the relegation zone, with other clubs near the drop zone yet to play.
There was plenty of promise in the first-half performance but Jesse Marsch’s side failed to capitalise on their momentum. When Emi Buendia doubled the hosts’ advantage on 64 minutes, the game appeared over.
But Leeds rallied together and scored a late consolation through Patrick Bamford. Much of the pre-match talk centred on the 29-year-old’s long-awaited return from injury and United supporters will hope he can build on that goal going forward.
