Richard Madeley couldn't resist mocking wife Judy Finnigan following Anne-Marie's awful fall at the BRIT Awards last night.
The 30-year-old singer was left shaken after taking a tumble down the stairs as she belted out her vocals during her live performance at the 2022 ceremony.
Like a pro, Anne-Marie continued on in her daring red leather dress and, afterwards, joked about the moment by tweeting: "Didn't need my left ankle anyway."
Addressing the moment on Good Morning Britain today with Susanna Reid, he recalled his own wife's legendary awkward moment on an awards stage.
Back in 2001 during the National Television Awards, Judy suffered a wardrobe malfunction while accepting an award with Richard.
Judy's top ended up opening while she was on stage, flashing her bra to the whole of the Royal Albert Hall audience and 12million viewers at home.
Unfortunately, neither she nor Richard had realised at the time and continued to obliviously speak at the mic.
Their colleague John Leslie had been the one to run on stage to help Judy cover up.
Richard said today: "At least she didn't show her bra."
Susanna asked: "For all the younger viewers, can you explain?"
He went on to speak about what had happened at the awards show 21 years ago.
"Before we went to the awards, Judy said 'I haven't brought my matching bra. Oh well, no one is going to know'," Richard added. "We won the award and went on stage but the clasp on her top popped open"
Susanna quizzed him: "Do you think Judy is going to mind you bringing this back up on national television?"
"She's written about it loads of times. She's over it now," he said. "John Leslie came running up and closed her dress up."
