Glentoran have announced the appointment of a new Strategic Off-Field Consultant.
Gavin Clements is tasked with implementing the East Belfast club's "short, medium and long term strategic plans".
His primary role will be recruiting key personnel and implementing Glentoran's five-year vision document.
Lifelong Glens supporter Clements is a former commercial director at Larne Football Club and was the brains behind the Invermen's 'Aspire to Inspire' strategy.
“I am honoured to take up the role of Strategic Off Field Consultant," Clements told Glentoran's website.
"Glentoran are doing great things on and off the pitch. I'm really excited to put into action the activities that will underpin this football club for generations and will have a positive impact, socially and economically."
Glens head coach Mick McDermott believes Clements' appointment can help "evolve the way football is run in this country".
He added: "We are delighted to have Gavin come on board as we take exciting steps forward as a club.
"We all know that signing quality players is paramount to success, but the 'signing' of key personnel like Gavin is also vital to our long term strategy.
"He has shared with us a clear vision and focus, which when delivered, will create a truly sustainable football club and bring the spotlight on Glentoran, our city and our entire league.
"I truly believe that together, we will evolve the way football is run in this country.”
Glentoran added: "We are very excited to see what Gavin can bring to a club of the size and stature of Glentoran."
