Two Glentoran fans are set to brave the elements to complete a 16-kilometre walk to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause.
Colin Davidson and Craig McCullagh will set off from The Oval on Friday afternoon and make their way to Taylors Avenue in time to watch their beloved Glens take on Carrick Rangers in the league that evening.
Not only have this week's weather conditions now made the walk more of a challenge, it has also placed doubt over the fixture going ahead.

But the intrepid duo will be completing their trek regardless of whether the game is on or not as they bid to reach their fundraising target for the Glentoran Christmas Appeal.
"I've seen a couple of different reports on the weather," said Craig.
"A friend sent me a screenshot with a forecast for snow, although my Met Office app is showing that as we leave east Belfast it will be around 3°C but it's set to drop right down to 1°C before kick off!
"Places as close as Mallusk are due snow so who knows if it'll make its way down, either way it's going to be absolutely baltic.
"As most of my physical preparations have been in a gym the weather hasn't hampered me that way but I've had to go dig out my thick winter coat for its first outing of the season, I also need to go grab some proper thick gloves too.
"Col doesn't let the weather faze him, he's been out running a few kilometres every day, sun, rain or ice!
"Unlike Colin, I'm not big on cardio, although most days I do between 10,000 - 15,000 steps throughout the day, although I'm under no illusion that this will be a fraction of what this will take all in one go."
Depending on the weather conditions the boys are expecting to be walking for several hours.
"It will probably take around four-and-a-half hours to complete, that is assuming there is no lying snow," said Colin.
"I do lots of walking and running as it is good for my mental and physical health and really clears the head, so think I am ready to go!
"It's all for a great cause. The Christmas appeal at Glentoran has been running for 10 years now and provides a huge amount of support to the local community and further afield.
"It should also be noted that the support is all year round just more emphasis on it at Christmas."
