Glentoran have announced a new contract for their 'iconic captain' Marcus Kane.
Kane has agreed an extension that will take him to the end of the 2023/24 season.
The 31-year-old is preparing for his 12th season at the Oval, having played 383 games for the Glens and captained the side for the past six years.

Kane is preparing for his testimonial game against St Mirren next Wednesday, June 28 at Blanchflower Stadium.
Glentoran manager Warren Feeney told the club's website: “Moko is a great player and a great captain with very strong character. He has loyally stuck with the club through good and bad times and you need that sort of commitment and example in any successful changing room.
"I’m really delighted he’s agreed to extend and I look forward to working closely with him. He’s a great fit for this club and team.”
The club added: "Glentoran FC is very happy to announce that our iconic captain, Marcus Kane has signed an extension to his current contract. That means Marcus is now committed to Glentoran until the end of the 2023/24 season at least.
"Marcus has just completed hie eleventh season at Glentoran and his sixth as captain. He has made 383 first team appearances, making him player with the 21st most appearances in Glentoran’s 141-year history.
"He also completes his much deserved testimonial match with a friendly against SPFL club St Mirren at the Blanchflower Stadium next Wednesday (28th June). The outstanding support shown by all for the testimonial events demonstrate so clearly the love Glens supporters have for their loyal skipper."
