The Australian all-rounder was dismissed for a duck after facing just four balls, equalling the record for the most ducks in IPL history alongside Dinesh Karthik and Rohit Sharma, with 17 ducks each.
Maxwell's struggle for form in this year's IPL reflects a stark contrast to his performance in the ODI World Cup late last year, where he played a pivotal role in Australia's triumph on Indian soil.
