As the cost of living crisis grips the country and households continue to struggle to make ends meet, Glaswegians could be entitled to more money as 12 Scottish government benefit rates are increasing as of Saturday, April 1.
The benefit hike will be a godsend to people who rely on financial support including carers, disabled people, and low income households.
A dozen benefits will increase by 10.1 per cent in a bid to tackle child poverty and offer social security support to the most vulnerable across the city.
