Locals are listing their houses to rent during this year's Glastonbury Festival for more than £3,000 a night. The homes are advertised as 200,000 people are set to descend on Pilton between June 22 and June 26.
The majority of those revellers will be pitching tents inside the ginormous 1,000 acre festival site, but a number of properties in the local area have also been listed on online house rental marketplace AirBnb, reports Somerset Live. Featuring festival luxuries - a clean toilet, shower and a bit of peace and quiet - these houses come with an eye-watering premium.
One tiny one-bedroom cottage in the village of Pilton is being advertised for £6,222 for the five nights of the festival. That works out at £1,244 per night for the property.
