Glastonbury Festival 2024: Favourites to headline next year - including Taylor Swift

As this year's Glastonbury Festival gets underway this week, excitement is building among fans as world-class music legends flock to the fields of Worth Farm in Somerset. This year, Elton John will be headlining the Pyramid Stage for the first time in Glastonbury history.

Other artists taking to the stage include The Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey, Guns N' Roses and Lizzo. But looking into the future, which artists will most likely headline in 2024?

The team at OLBG has revealed the latest Glastonbury 2024 headliner betting odds - with Taylor Swift being an early favourite for next year’s event. Current odds for the 34-year-old popstar stand at 1/1, following the announcement of her UK and European tour dates.

Entertainment betting expert Steve Madgwick, added: "Taylor Swift now has a 50 per cent chance of headlining next year's Glastonbury Festival according to the latest odds from bookies." Following closely behind is Coldplay, with odds of 6/4.

The popular pop band already headlined the festival on four occasions - and could well return in 2024. If they do they will become the first artists to headline Glastonbury five times.

Other artists in the running to potentially head to Somerset in 2024 are Dua Lipa, Rhianna and Sam Fender. Below is the latest list and odds from OLBG.

Elton John will headline the Sunday of Glastonbury. Having never performed at the festival during his career, it is very fitting that he is closing the festival as it is the last UK show of his farewell tour.

Ticket prices came to an eye-watering £340 in total this year, and were sold in a matter of minutes last November. Over the years, the UK's biggest music festival has seen a vast range of artists perform.

However, there has been one particular musician who has played at the festival the most. Van Morrison has made the most appearances with a whopping eight performances.
