Bus and train passengers have been issued a warning by ScotRail and First Glasgow this morning as flooding occurred through the night.
Train services from Glasgow to Inverness have been cancelled after heavy rain battered the country last night. This comes after Scotland felt the wrath of the tail end of Hurricane Ian that devastated Florida.
Taking to Twitter, ScotRail informed customers: "Due to heavy rain flooding the railway at Dalwhinnie, the line is currently closed. Train services from Glasgow/Edinburgh to Inverness will be terminated at and started back from Perth. All stations between Perth and Inverness will not be served.

"Customers are able to travel on alternative routes via Aberdeen towards Inverness. We have also requested buses to assist with passenger journeys, however due to limited replacement transport being secured, passengers are advised to consider making alternative arrangements."
First Glasgow has also warned passengers that a number of routes are being diverted due to flooding. They announced on social media that the 9A is diverting due to flooding on Hillington Road.
Amongst other services, they said: "Due to flooding on Clarence Drive, our 4/4A service is diverting via University Ave, Byres Rd, Dumbarton Rd & Crow Rd.
"Apologies for any disruption this may cause you on your journey."
The 4/4A, 90, 43, 41, 60 and 60A services are also taking alternate routes.
