Residents of a Glasgow tower block were evacuated last night due to rubbish fire.
Fire crews raced to the 20-storey Kingsway Flats in the Scotstoun area to reports of rubbish on fire near a block of flats around 8:30pm last night.
The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service (SFRS) mobilised four appliances to the scene. The fire was extinguished and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.

One eyewitness confirmed that the tower block was evacuated, with fire crews on the scene in minutes.
They tweeted: "Block of flats at Kingsway Court has been evacuated. Seems to be minor, but have responded fast and dealt with this quickly."
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.30pm on Monday, 8 August to reports of rubbish on fire near a flat block at Kingsway Court, Scotstoun.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances, extinguished the fire and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
