Glasgow thunderstorm warning today as thousands head to city for Old Firm and Kiltwalk

Glasgow looks set to be hit by a thunderstorm today as thousands descend on the city for the Old Firm clash and the Kiltwalk

Forecasters have warned of heavy showers spreading into the city between noon and 9pm tonight.

The yellow alert explains that flooding could be a problem, and there is a good chance that driving conditions may be difficult, with standing water and spray on the roads, causing delays. Rail journeys could also be affected.
