Glasgow is set to be hit with freezing temperatures come the end of January, with lows of -8C.
Snow and ice warnings have been issued by the Met Office this week as some areas of Scotland will face two inches of snow each hour.
A rare amber alert has also been issued as the Artic conditions continue.
