Glasgow's west end set for new handcrafted artisan ice cream shop Nowita

Glasgow's westenders will soon be able to tuck into delicious handcrafted ice cream thanks to the arrival of Nowita.

Opening soon at 51 Hyndland Street, the artisan ice cream shop replaces the former Parents etc store, beside Vincent Family Butchers, at 51 Hyndland Street.

Work has been underway to transform the premises, giving the unit a beautiful, fresh look.

Many Glaswegians may already have had a taste of their ice cream, which is available in the likes of the Zero Waste Market shop while they've also appeared as a pop at various locations in Glasgow.

The new shop is opening soon at 51 Hyndland Street (Instagram @nowita_gla)

Explaining what people can expect from Nowita, owners say: "We create small-batch ice cream in our Glasgow kitchen using premium ingredients and fresh locally sourced fruit and dairy. We then wrap it all up in our eco-friendly packaging!

"Artificial colours and flavourings are never used in our kitchen!"

They add on their website: "Producing small batch ice cream means a lot of care goes into every single tub.

"All those tasty extras (salted caramel, italian meringue, banana bread, chocolate honeycomb...) are homemade to ensure the highest quality!"

We're licking our lips at the prospect of this!

An opening date has yet to be set, however for all updates and to find out more about Nowita, make sure you give them a follow on Instagram here.
