Glasgow city centre is set for a huge boost with the arrival of Big Feed Kitchen, as we exclusively reported last week.
Opening at the iconic Princes Square, the team behind Glasgow's award-winning street food market is bringing a new 'premium' offering to the heart of the city. Soundtracked by your favourite tunes, Big Feed Kitchen promises to serve up some of Scotland's best street food and cocktails, delivering a fresh twist on classic street food dishes.
Elevating Big Feed's 'street food heritage to his kind of restaurant level', the kitchen will be run by chef Michael Scott, who has worked at a variety of Michelin star restaurants across the country. And now the Big Feed have revealed their new menu, with rotated specials popping up to keep it all super-fresh, ahead of the grand opening this Friday, August 26.

Chef Mikey said: “Really looking forward to this one, if you’re a fan of street food, you’re going to love this menu.”
On it you'll find the likes of pizza romana, loaded burgers, dirty fries, gyros, bao buns and tacos - celebrating the very best of The Big Feed's usual offering. Meanwhile, vegans have already responded to praise the number of meat-free options, while the new restaurant is kid-friendly too.
And fear not, for those delicious salt n chilli fries make their way on to the menu and there's churros up for grabs for dessert. On the drinks front, there's something for everyone with a bit of an emphasis on cocktails including all the classics such as Espresso Martini, Mojitos and Bloody Marys, priced at £8.
You can get wine by the glass too while beers include Madri, Staropramen and Blue Moon.
Speaking to Glasgow Live, Jonathan Yvess of Big Feed Kitchen said: “This is a really exciting step for us and one we have been working on for a long time. The key to it all was finding the perfect venue so when we were approached by the team at Princes Square about working together it was a no brainer.
“We have a big, beautiful site downstairs and we’ll also be taking over the courtyard. It’s a lovely place to bring the family – whether you’re on a day out shopping, going to the cinema or just enjoying our gorgeous city.
"We’ve brought in a serious chef, Michael Scott, who has worked at numerous Michelin starred restaurants such as The Kitchin, Abstract, 21212 and No1 Balmoral as well as Caledonian Hotel, The Witchery and Prestonfield.
“We have carefully selected firm favourites inspired by our street food heritage. Mikey has brought them up to his kind of restaurant level – so it’s a fresh twist on classic street food dishes.
"Things like bao buns, pizzas, smashed Wagyu burgers, Korean buttermilk chicken, duck gyros and stacked salt and chilli fries to name a few. But the absolute best versions of all those dishes.”
Katie Moody, Centre Director, Princes Square, commented: “Princes Square is very excited to announce the opening of Big Feed Kitchen - a new restaurant extending into our courtyard area, joining Il Pavone and Everyman Cinema. We have a great admiration for the Big Feed brand and are delighted they’ve chosen Princes Square for their first city centre location.
"We can't wait to launch this new food offering.”
