New research has revealed that Glasgow has the highest number of CCTV cameras in total in the UK.
A whopping 5,352 cameras are in operation in Scotland's biggest city, which works out as roughly 874 cameras for every 10,000 people in the city.
It means Glasgow is by far the local authority area with the highest number of CCTV cameras, with 3,048 more cameras than the area in second place on the list , Hillingdon in London (2,304), and 3,148 more than South Lanarkshire (2,204) in third position.

The findings were published by security staffing platform Get Licensed after they analysed a series of Freedom of Information requests to reveal where in the UK has the most CCTV cameras and which areas spend the most on surveillance.
In a list of the places in the UK with the most cameras per 10,000 people, Glasgow City found itself in fifth place behind East Ayrshire, Pembrokeshire, Portsmouth and Hammersmith and Fulham in London.
It didn't however spend the most on cameras, with the City of London spending more than any other region on surveillance via their bill of over £7m - followed by Wolverhampton (£1.19m) and Camden (£961,893).
