Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy has taken to social media to thank Glasgow Royal Infirmary for taking care of him following a car crash on Boxing Day.
The actor was in Scotland to spend the festive season with his girlfriend Laura Anderson who rose to fame on Love Island. The pair met on on the most recent season of E4's Celebs Go Dating.
Gary was rushed to hospital after crashing his vehicle on Monday. The couple shared news of the incident online after the 41-year-old was discharged with a knee brace and crutches, reports the Daily Record.

Laura shared a collage of their day to fans - including loved up Christmas snaps, as well as the father of four lying in a hospital bed with a swollen knee.
Re-sharing the image on Instagram, Gary wrote: "Huge thank you to all at Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital."
He added: "And to one special nurse in particular... @lauraanderson1x," alongside three red heart emojis.
The actor shared images of his smashed up car and said he was lucky to be alive.
He wrote: "Someone was looking out for me today."
Sharing a video from the hospital, Laura said: "Happy Boxing Day. We've had a lovely time," before the two burst out laughing at their situation.
The 33-year-old also asked Gary: "How are you feeling on your morphine?"

Standing in his crutches, Gary said: "Yeah pretty f***ing good to be fair," before Laura starts giggling.
She continues: "Sorry, this isn't funny. Love you," before going into kiss the actor.
Taking to social media today, Laura credited St Joseph for saving the soap star after he was rushed to hospital from miraculously surviving a crash which wrecked his Range Rover.
She took to her Instagram to share a snap of the saint card which Gary had been given by his gran.
Alongside the picture, she wrote: “We’re not religious but thank you St Joseph for saving my love."
“Gary’s gran gave him this, it had words about safety and protection on the other side. I pulled it out of his bag yesterday morning just before his accident.”
She went on to ask her followers: “Do you keep anything sentimental with you for protection?”
