Glasgow police release CCTV of man after serious assault at Hillhead Bookclub in west end

Police have released images of a man they believe may able to assist them following a serious assault at a west end bar.

The incident took place in the west end of Glasgow on September 24, 2022 at Hillhead Bookclub on Vinicombe Street in at around 10.50pm.

CCTV footage shows the man wearing a burnt orange or red coloured t-shirt. He is described as being 5ft 10inches, of a stocky build, dark hair and spoke with a local accent.

Officers are now urging anyone who recognises the man to contact them.

The incident happened inside the Hillhead Bookclub in the west end of Glasgow (Police Scotland)

Detective Constable Joshua Wright said: “We are keen to speak to this man may have information which could assist with our enquiries. I would encourage him or anyone who may recognise him to contact us.”

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 4317 of 24 September 2022. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
