Glasgow police probing 'serious' west end assault issue CCTV appeal

Police in Glasgow have released cctv images of two men they are looking to trace in connection with a serious assault in the west end.

The incident took place on Monday, March 14, at around 4.10pm on Kelvinhaugh Street.

A 26-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment as a result, and was later discharged.

Officers are attempting to trace two men who they believe will be able to assist with their investigation.

The first man is described as being of medium build and was wearing a black and yellow high-visibility jacket, orange hat, black trousers and brown shoes.

The second man is also of medium build and was wearing a grey Adidas hoodie, black trousers, white trainers and carrying an orange hat.

Constable Calvin Leslie said: “I would urge the men, or anyone who has information about the two men in the image to contact the police.

“You can contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference number 2258 of 14 March, 2022. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
