Glasgow has been named the second best city in the UK, by readers Condé Nast Traveller.
Their annual Readers' Choice Awards look for the best hotels, resorts, cities, countries, islands, transport lines and more - against a set criteria. Over 240,000 readers submitted responses, revealing their favourite spots across the world.
Glasgow came in at number two for cities in the UK, while Cambridge secured first place. Dropping in the ranking was London, which came in third.

Speaking on Glasgow, the magazine said: "This buzzy city has made the list for the fifth year in a row, beating neighbour and rival Edinburgh in 2022's list."
Included in the travel magazine's recommended things to do in the city were Pollok Country Park, River Kelvin, Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel, Pollokshaws Road and more. You can find the full list here.
