A Glasgow man has shared his bewilderment at capturing 'a UFO' on camera.
The sighting was made Andy McNelly in the Chapelhall area of Airdrie at around 7.40pm on Monday. He said the 'UFO', which was 'miles high' in the sky, was like a plane but had no wings or vapour trail.
Andy spotted it while with his son on their back decking.

He told Glasgow Live: "I was out on the deck with my wee boy, facing south west, and saw this 'plane' high above. It was the only one in the sky, we often gets lots coming and going to and from Glasgow Airport.
"This one was miles high, like of those transatlantic flights, probably 33,000 feet or higher. I got my phone out to zoom into it and pressed record at the same time.
"I could see it was long like a plane but had no wings and was too high to be a helicopter. It also had no vapour trail like most high altitude planes."

It comes after a 'shape-shifting UFO' was captured on camera in the skies above Renfrew by a startled resident back in March.
The footage appeared to show a small yellow light in the sky, which then begins to change form with remarkable speed once the camera has zoomed in on it.
