Glasgow man dies after being found injured as cops probe 'unexplained' death

Police are investigating the death of a man after he was found seriously injured in a residential area of Glasgow in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The 39-year-old was found shortly after midnight at Whitevale Gardens in Dennistoun, but sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency services have cordoned off the street and a heavy police presence remains in the area while enquiries are carried out, Glasgow Live reports.

A major investigation is underway following the death of a man in Dennistoun in the early hours of this morning.

The man's death is currently being treated as "unexplained".

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: "The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
