A gran from Glasgow was left in a 'terrible state' after being detained in a Spanish airport for over 32 hours.
Sharon Dempsey flew out to Alicante with her brother on Saturday morning but lost her passport sometime between taking off from Glasgow and landing in Spain.
The 66-year-old gran from Drumchapel was forbidden from entering the country by Spanish police and kept overnight at a detention centre while her family frantically tried to get her a flight home.
