More than £2 million funding is to be used to build more cycle paths in Glasgow as the bid to create 270km of routes across the city continues.
Councillors agreed to accept £2.1 million funding, which will be used to produce designs for cycling infrastructure in Glasgow North and the inner south of the city among other measures.
Last week the City Administration Committee accepted the cash from the Sustrans Places for Everyone Fund with most of the money going towards the creation of the ‘city network’ active travel paths.
