Glasgow courier sacked after 'torching parcel' in middle of street outside delivery home

A Glasgow courier has been sacked for allegedly torching a customer's parcel and leaving it in the middle of the road outside their home.

Evri - formerly known as Hermes - confirmed they got rid of the driver after receiving a complaint from the home-owner about the shock incident last week.

Liz Rudden claims that her husband Andy went outside their home in the city after spotting the courier having trouble finding their parcel in the back of the van, the Daily Record reports.
