Glasgow concerts in June and how to get tickets for Barrowlands, Hydro and more

In Glasgow we're known for our incredible nightlife and live music scene.

Within the past year major artists have come to our city including Harry Styles at Ibrox, Queen + Adam Lambert performing at the Hydro as well as Paisley's very own Paolo Nutini making a come back with his new album and performing in the same venue just last year.

But with summer creeping up on us, more artists are set to visit the best city in Scotland - and you won't have long to wait with a few stand out events happening over the next month.

So if you are keen to catch a gig or two in June and score them off your 'must see' list, then here are the concerts you need to know about.

Glasgow concerts happening this June

Barrowland Ballroom

Across two days, chvrches are set to perform at the iconic east end venue. You can buy tickets to their gig via the Ticketmaster website however at present, they are all sold out. But as with many concerts, some re-sells may come up and it's always worth checking back.

Another artist coming to the Barrowlands is Sabrina Carpenter. Performing in just a few weeks, the Gallowgate venue will host the event on Tuesday, June 13. Tickets can be bought via TicketWeb. The sold-out event could see tickets being added back on however if fans cannot make it and choose to re-sell, if an option.

Queen's Park Recreational Ground

Craig and Charlie Reid - aka The Proclaimers - are set to come to Glasgow's south side at the end of the month.

Performing on June 24, which falls on a Saturday, the Scottish duo have no tickets left however you can sign up for the waiting list so you're the first to know if any become available through the See Tickets website.

Another artist coming to Queen's Park is Hozier with the Take Me To Church singer performing on June 25. Falling on a Saturday, the event is sure to entertain with tickets being sold through Ticketmaster.

OVO Hydro

There's only a few seats left for anyone wanting to see Iron Maiden on their Future Past Tour 2023. Playing the OVO Hydro on June 26, tickets can be purchased through the Ticketmaster website - but you will want to be quick!

Legend Elton John is also set to take to the stage at Glasgow's OVO Hydro across two days. Tickets are still available but people are being warned that they are limited.

You can grab tickets for the following days and opt for the VIP Package should you prefer.

Bellahouston Park

If you're a rock and roll fan, it's good news with Guns N' Roses tickets still available to get your hands on. You can get them via the Ticketmaster website with VIP options also left.

The legendary band return to Glasgow after a rearranged date for their postponed 2022 show with Axl and Co set to play this summer instead on Tuesday, June 27.

Also coming to Bellahouston Park are the Arctic Monkeys. Playing on Sunday June 25, the band still have tickets left via Ticketmaster.

A fan of Muse? Then you'll want to check out the latest available seats on Ticketmaster with them set to perform on June 23 which falls on Friday - a perfect way to welcome in a much needed weekend.
