A historic Scottish attraction has been evacuated following a "malicious" call.
Visitors at the Glasgow Cathedral were evacuated from the premises around 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon as officers conducted searches of the building.
The force have confirmed that no suspicious items were found and an investigation has now been launched to establish the full circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.30pm on Sunday, November 5, we responded to what is now believed to be a malicious call to Glasgow Cathedral, Cathedral Square, Glasgow. "Staff and visitors were evacuated as a precaution. Officers conducted searches of the building and no suspicious items were found. “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
