Glasgow pensioner Edna Clayton has celebrated her 101st birthday in some style - by receiving over 30,000 cards.
Edna became the talk of the steamie a few weeks ago after her care home, Hector House in Shawlands, put out an appeal for locals to send her cards after she spent her 100th birthday home alone due to the covid lockdown.
Care home staff wanted to make sure Edna would have a day to remember, and they certainly succeeded.

Having been sent cars from across the country - and the globe - prior to her big day, today kicked off with an a surprise from the Zoe Ball Breakfast show on BBC Radio 2 and an appearance on Good Morning Britain.
She also received some special visits from the likes of Labour leader Anas Sarwar and Glasgow South West Police, while Scot-Mid Co-Operative popped over to deliver a special £101 gift voucher to make sure the celebrations were 'full of fizz'.
Last but not least, kids from local school St Conval's Primary School treated to her to a rendition of 'You Cannae Shove Yer Granny Aff A Bus' as Edna watched on from the doorstep of the care home.
As well as the thousands of cards, Edna woke up to her name in huge lights and balloons.
