The annual GLAAD Media Awards have announced its lineup for the 2024 ceremony. The LGBTQ advocacy organization revealed that Kate Hudson and Chlöe will be performing at the ceremony on March 14. Hudson is set to perform her latest single “Talk About Love,” which was accompanied by the release of the song’s music video earlier this week. In a press release, Hudson expressed her gratitude towards the LGBTQ community for their longstanding support and mentioned her excitement to share her artistry with her fans and be an ally.
Chlöe, on the other hand, will be performing her newest track “FYS” for the first time at the GLAAD Media Awards. She emphasized the importance of being an ally and advocate for an organization that promotes unity, inclusiveness, and human rights. Chlöe also highlighted the significance of representation in media and expressed her joy in celebrating the LGBTQ community's contributions.
At the upcoming ceremony, Oprah Winfrey will be honored with the Vanguard Award for her commitment to allyship, while Niecy Nash-Betts will receive the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, recognizing her contributions to the LGBTQ community in the entertainment industry. Wayne Brady, known for his role on 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?,' will host the event, with a star-studded lineup of special guests including Billie Joe Armstrong, Chrishell Stause, G Flip, Hannah Waddingham, Jason Sudeikis, Jonathan Bailey, Reneé Rapp, and more.
The ceremony will be exclusively broadcast on Hulu, with the full taping set to stream on March 29. Chlöe, who previously performed at the GLAAD Awards in 2021 with her sister Halle Bailey, is making her return to the event with the performance of “FYS.” The GLAAD Media Awards continue to be a platform for celebrating LGBTQ representation and honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the community.
