Leeds United slipped down into the relegation zone for the first time this season as a Seamus Coleman effort allowed Everton to leapfrog the Whites with a 1-0 win at Goodison Park this afternoon.
Despite early chances for both sides, it was Everton who had the first real opportunity of the game after Conor Coady's header from a corner was blocked off the line by Max Wober before Abdoulaye Doucouré's rebound was cleared by Weston McKennie.
The score went into halftime at 0-0 but the deadlock would eventually be broken by the hosts as Coleman latched onto a ball from over the top before lashing a ball to the right of Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier who was stood too far off his line.

Leeds fans voiced their concerns from the away end but continued to call for their side to get back into the game although it was eventually to no avail.
The Whites were unable to find the much-needed equaliser and fell to 19th in the Premier League, their lowest position of the season so far.
