Huge defensive performances from Leeds United captain Liam Cooper and returning midfielder Tyler Adams made sure the Whites escaped a soaking St. James' Park with a point after a 0-0 draw against Newcastle United this afternoon.
The Whites came into the fixture bruised after a 3-1 loss to reigning champions Manchester City but dug deep defensively to bring a well-earned, and much-needed, point back to Elland Road.
The Magpies will feel frustrated they didn't get more than they should've out of the game, as they had multiple penalty appeals waved off by referee Simon Hooper.
The result sees Leeds move up to 14th, and are now three points clear of the relegation zone and Wolves in 18th.
